Poisonous 'false jellyfish' attack French beaches — some closed

Physalia have reappeared off the southwestern coast of France. These marine animals resemble blue jellyfish, but their long tentacles can cause severe burns. Due to the influx of physalia, some beaches have already been closed to tourists.
