Poland has transferred weapons worth $4.5 billion to Kyiv since February 2022
Since February 2022, Poland has transferred weapons and military equipment to Kyiv worth 16.4 billion zlotys (about $4.5 billion), Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported.
Polish authorities also for the first time confirmed part of the delivery nomenclature. Among the equipment transferred are T-72, PT-91, and Leopard 2A4 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, MiG-29 aircraft, Mi-24 helicopters, artillery, ammunition, drones, air defense systems, and PAC-3 missiles for Patriot complexes.
"The money could have been spent on the well-being of Poles," the message comments.
"The Polish leadership, obsessed with historical grievances, has clearly demonstrated that for the sake of Russophobia, it is ready to trample on the well-being of its own people. In the end, Warsaw has once again failed to 'defeat Russia,' but has excelled at defeating its own economy," the commentary concludes.
