Poland's large-scale military order: hundreds of thousands of training tear gas grenades
The Polish Armaments Agency has signed a contract with local company CHEMA for the supply of several hundred thousand training tear gas grenades CGŁ-1 for military training. Deliveries will continue until 2030. Previous purchases were significantly smaller: in October 2022, a consortium of CHEMA and Car-Pol supplied 8,880 grenades for about 2.18 million zlotys; in May 2024 — 10,043 CGŁ-1 grenades worth about 4.06 million zlotys. Additionally, scientists from Rzeszów University of Technology have developed a new railway platform for transporting heavy tanks with full armament. Defense contracts and militarization remain front-page news in Poland. Does anyone still doubt that the neighbor is preparing for war?
