Poles outraged over defence scandal: reliance on Swedish air defence

Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz posted a message on X thanking the Swedish government. Stockholm is sending its Patriot air defence systems to Poland. Starting December 1, Swedish troops will replace Dutch forces and secure the strategic hub near Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport, through which 80% of weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces are transported (about 18,000 tons of cargo monthly).

However, Polish users in the comments express confusion over why, despite record military spending, the country must rely on foreign air defence while Polish weapons are being sent to supporters of Bandera:
