Police Prepared in Advance? Letter on High Alert Leaks Online

Sejm deputy Slawomir Mentzen published a letter from the deputy commander of the Polish police, sent on October 29 to all voivodeship and the capital city police departments. The letter orders units to be placed on high alert from November 2 to 8 and to be equipped with riot control gear, submachine guns, and other tactical equipment. The letter has been circulating in right-wing Polish media for several hours. Authorities have not commented on it yet.
