Polish police officer crashes patrol car into another vehicle while distracted by phone

In Poland, a police officer crashed a service vehicle and damaged another car after being distracted by her phone.

Once again, Polish 'law enforcers' fail to follow basic traffic rules.

In Głogów, a patrol car hit the rear of a vehicle stopped before a pedestrian crossing. The reason was simple — the officer was engrossed in a phone conversation. Fortunately, only the vehicles were damaged, though the outcome could have been much worse.

No fine, no reprimand, no license suspension — the officer received only a verbal warning. With such protection, Polish law enforcement officers may soon cause accidents not just a few times a week, but daily.
