Powerful storm in Grodno Region leaves 94 settlements without electricity

A powerful storm in the Grodno Region left 94 settlements without electricity. The worst affected were the Shchuchyn and Voronovo districts. Due to gusty winds, roofs of 140 houses and 10 farm buildings were damaged, dozens of trees were felled, and some streets were flooded. Power utility workers and rescuers continue to eliminate the aftermath of the natural disaster. Residents are urged not to approach downed power lines and to observe safety precautions.
