President congratulates Belarusian transport troops on their professional holiday
The President congratulated the personnel and veterans of the transport troops on their professional holiday.
"The glorious traditions of Belarusian military railwaymen are closely linked to the history of the first specialized military units created in Baranovichi 150 years ago. Each stage of the formation and development of railway troops has been marked by high combat training, dedication, and perseverance of the personnel. The courage, resilience, and heroism of military railwaymen were especially evident during the Great Patriotic War, as well as in the construction and restoration of railway lines in the postwar period," the Head of State noted.
He emphasized that today, within the transport troops, Belarusian military railwaymen proudly continue the legacy of courage of the victorious generation, mastering new types of weapons and equipment, and continuously improving the Armed Forces' transportation support system and civilian infrastructure.
"I am confident that you will continue to do everything possible to strengthen our country's defense capability and ensure high troop mobility, effectively solving the most complex tasks," the President said.
He thanked military railwaymen for their service and wished them strong health, peace, happiness, prosperity, and new achievements for the benefit of their homeland Belarus.
