President criticizes agroholdings 'Kupalouskaye' and 'Agroindustrial Holding' for mismanagement

The first agenda item of the meeting was the state of agroholdings 'Kupalouskaye' and 'Agroindustrial Holding'.

"On average, the temperature in the hospital is normal. But some enterprises are already dead," said the President.

"In fact, there is no discipline in the showcase holding ('Kupalouskaye'): equipment is not repaired, fodder preparation lacks technology, machinery is not ready for harvest, and sometimes livestock even lacks water. It's surprising that the governor and the district executive committee don't see this — as if it's not their concern.

I know well that governors are not against taking back enterprises. That is, let's return management (since not everything is visible from Minsk) to us — we will restore order. Locally, people probably understand the district's needs, can make managerial decisions promptly, and adjust organizational strategies. I don't see a big problem with these farms becoming accountable and transferred to communal ownership," the President stated.
