President Lukashenko congratulates metallurgists on their professional holiday
President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated metallurgists on their professional holiday, calling it a celebration of people with strong character, warm hearts, and unwavering willpower. He emphasized that they produce the very metal that supports engineering structures of bridges and factories, and is used in manufacturing and housing construction. The head of state noted that Belarus is rightfully proud of the achievements of its domestic metallurgical school, highlighting the sector’s dynamic development through innovation, digital technologies, and import substitution programs. Lukashenko separately expressed gratitude to veterans for passing on knowledge and unique experience to the new generation, noting that today, descendants of labor dynasties and young professionals are honorably continuing the traditions of their predecessors. He expressed confidence that metallurgists will continue to strengthen Belarus’s economic power and sovereignty through hard work. The President wished workers, veterans, and their families health, peace, kindness, and prosperity.
