President: Over 17,000 rental apartments are vacant in Belarus

President: «As I am informed, the number of vacant rental apartments is growing. It’s strange, isn’t it? Currently, more than 17,000 residential units are listed as unclaimed».

Additionally:

▫️Previously built housing is not being repaired. As a result, nearly 6,000 uninhabited units have been declared unfit for living.

▫️Issues with new housing. Following complaints, a decision was made to minimize the time required for settling people into new buildings.

‼️President’s order:

Local authorities must take strict control over this process. Completed apartments must not remain empty!
