President questions slowdown in housing construction in first half of 2026

President: "In addition to rental housing, construction of state-supported, commercial, and individual housing continues in the country. All decisions requested by the Government and regional executive committees on these issues have been made. According to reports, the pace of housing commissioning in the first half of 2026 has decreased. How can we explain this?"

There are sometimes complaints in the media and social networks about the incompetence of local authorities, bureaucratic delays by banks in issuing housing loans, and similar issues. Such situations should not occur! The Government must fully engage to address these problems.
