President raises questions on expanding Dribin District with neighboring areas

The second topic of discussion was proposals to expand the Dribin District by including agricultural lands from neighboring districts.

The President raised several questions on the matter:

❓ What do the Mogilev, Gorki, Chausy, and Shklov districts think about this?

💬 "I instructed the head of the Administration to make a large map so everyone can see what this district is and will be. Public opinion is important, but after we explain what we intend to do."

❓ Have possible consequences and next steps been worked out?

💬 "How much will this cost the budget and citizens, if anything? I assumed it would cost nothing. But if we need to support certain farms — we will."

❓ Most importantly, will there be a positive social and economic effect?

💬 "If the Dribin District is to exist, we must think about what kind of district it should be. It should match the average size of districts in our country. That was our starting point."
