President's decree changes procedure for mandatory state fingerprinting

By presidential decree, the procedure for mandatory state fingerprinting has been changed. The document was prepared to implement the provisions of the 2 February 2026 law 'On Amending Laws on State Fingerprint Registration'. The decree specifies the authorities authorized to issue referrals for fingerprint registration and to carry out such registration for new categories of persons subject to mandatory fingerprinting under the law. Additionally, the procedure for information exchange between state bodies in this area is improved. Changes are introduced based on the practice of applying current regulations. To ensure simplicity and accessibility of regulatory requirements for citizens, Decree No. 565 is presented in a new version.
