President's Remarks on School Meals, Talent Development, and Youth Employment

The President addressed several key domestic issues. On school nutrition, he emphasized that the government should ensure proper meals without requiring presidential oversight, rejecting the idea of restaurant-style menus, and stressing that children should be adequately fed using available resources. Regarding the Academy of Intellectual Technologies, he called for creating a strong center for the most talented individuals of any age, highlighting that it should not be limited to high school graduates, and should support people in turning ideas into socially and economically valuable products. On youth employment, he stated that while young specialists should not be 'carried in arms,' some support is necessary, acknowledging that everyone had to climb their own way in life. On master's programs, he noted that while Belarus won't blindly follow Western standards, it will adopt reasonable practices where applicable.
