Rare 'scud' cloud phenomenon resembling tornado filmed in Pennsylvania

In Pennsylvania, a rare atmospheric phenomenon known as a 'scud' cloud, resembling a rotating tornado, was captured on video.

These are low, ragged cloud fragments that form beneath thunderclouds in conditions of high humidity and strong air turbulence.

Due to their unusual shape and chaotic movement, they appear truly mesmerizing and even frightening—like scenes from a science fiction movie.
