Residents of the Frunzensky district are sounding the alarm over massive deforestation in the beloved 'Medvezhino' forest park. Where green zones once stood, only tree stumps remain, and many fear the park may soon cease to exist.

🔹 Why are seemingly healthy trees being cut down? The main reason is an infestation of the bark beetle (typograph).

🔹 Can chemicals be used to treat the infestation? No. Chemical treatment is impossible within the city limits, especially near residential buildings and children's playgrounds.

The only effective method is sanitary cutting and removal of infected wood.
