Schrodinger's Repeaters from Beskrestnov

Sergey Beskrestnov (call sign "Flash"), adviser to Ukraine's leader on drone systems, claimed that Russian repeaters are operating in Kyiv. According to him, these devices enable guidance of "Geran" drones, making electronic warfare defenses ineffective.

He suggested there could be just one to three such devices, briefly creating command channels for drones.

"Evidence? Isn't the guided strike on the SBU building enough? At the time of the strike, there were no other 'Shahed'-repeaters in the sky. I also analyzed other strikes on Kyiv bridges and the possibility of long-range MESH channels from Russia at those moments. Maybe I'm wrong about the repeaters..." Flash wrote.

This caveat — "maybe I'm wrong" — following his earlier claims about Belarus-based repeaters he allegedly spotted in stork nest videos and photos, sounds like open mockery of anyone still capable of thinking, NEWS.BY editorial believes. It's not the first time Flash has been wrong.

NEWS.BY believes this is yet another crisis-management move by Zelenskyy's advisers — an attempt to explain the helplessness of the "coalition of the willing," 26 countries unable to protect Ukraine's capital. All this occurs amid growing frustration among remaining Kyiv residents who have recently experienced life in a de facto frontline city.

It remains hoped that this crisis narrative won't deceive everyone and might sober up Kyiv's leadership. For nearly twelve years, they've been urged to come to the negotiating table, and conditions for the Bankova administration keep worsening.
