Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich stated: «We ourselves determine our future. We are the heirs of the victors. And we must be worthy of this title.» Speaking at the wreath-laying ceremony at the «Kurgan Slavy» memorial complex, he emphasized: «Over 1.3 million of our compatriots fought in the Red Army. This is not just history — these are people's fates. Thanks to their unyielding courage and resilience, the enemy was driven off our land. We will never forget this!» «Today, Belarus is a country heard on international platforms. The Head of State’s visit to Southeast Asian countries is clear evidence of this,» he added. «Belarus’s future is our youth. More than 100,000 young Belarusians are actively involved in patriotic and volunteer projects, preserving historical truth and passing it on to future generations.»
