Sinyavsky: Belarus coping with all consequences of bad weather

"My report to the President concluded that the country is once again coping with all consequences of bad weather, whatever they may be across Belarus. The head of state emphasized that the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been tasked with timely forecasting and responding to all emergencies in our country to protect the population, provide necessary assistance in case of unforeseen incidents, and ensure proper response at economic facilities," said Vadim Sinyavsky.

The minister informed the President that there were no serious or large-scale issues during the past week, although isolated incidents occurred due to strong winds on September 5–6 in several regions and in Minsk.

Specifically, power outages affected 279 settlements. Thanks to prompt actions by energy workers, all power restoration tasks were completed within a day.

In Minsk, three children were injured after a frame tent collapsed during an event in Gorky Park. They received timely medical assistance; hospitalization was not required, and all were released home.
