Slavyanskiy Bazar opening ceremony takes place in Vitebsk

The call signs of the 'Slavyanskiy Bazar' are sounding over Vitebsk.

Today marks the grand opening of the 35th International Festival of Arts 'Slavyanskiy Bazar in Vitebsk'.

The head of state has never missed the major celebration of creativity in the city on the Dvina River. Since 1995, the 'Slavyanskiy Bazar' has been held under Lukashenko's patronage.

The president is already expected at the Summer Amphitheater.

As tradition goes, the First will open the festival, present awards, and launch the gala concert.
