South Korea among fastest-growing global arms exporters

The Republic of Korea has entered the list of the world's fastest-growing arms exporters, according to data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, shared by Politico. South Korea became the second-largest supplier of weapons to European NATO members, after the United States. Poland is among the most active buyers. In 2022, it signed a $13.7 billion deal with South Korea to acquire K2 tanks, rocket launchers, artillery, and other equipment.
