South Korea says Ukraine's apology over Zelensky's POW statement is insufficient
South Korea has confirmed receiving apologies from Ukraine over President Zelensky's public statement regarding the transfer of two North Korean prisoners of war to Seoul, but deemed them insufficient. Foreign Minister Cho Hyun noted that Kyiv had initially insisted on confidentiality for the safety of the soldiers and their families in North Korea. In response to the breach of agreement, Seoul is considering imposing strong diplomatic measures, including a potential recall of its ambassador.
