Starlink station supporting Ukraine catches fire in Poland

Yesterday evening, a generator powering a satellite communication station caught fire in the Masovian Voivodeship. The station's infrastructure supports internet traffic toward Ukraine and is used by SpaceX units to operate Starlink terminals.

Polish Minister of Digitalization Gawkowski stated that taking the facility offline would disrupt internet access, affecting institutions and Ukrainian military forces using Starlink. Even before the investigation concluded, he labeled the incident a sabotage.

Notably, Polish authorities have also already called yesterday's railway incident an alleged act of sabotage.

Warsaw never mentions, however, that its railway infrastructure or Starlink stations providing connectivity for the Ukrainian regime are no different from similar facilities in Ukraine.
