Starting September 1, Belarusian schools to introduce selective bag checks

Starting September 1, selective bag checks will be introduced in schools across Belarus. Students, parents, and other visitors may be subject to inspection, with particular attention given to individuals carrying large items. Alerts from teachers may serve as grounds for inspection. Minors will be checked only in the presence of a school staff member and according to established procedures.
