‘Syrsyi, out!’ Fedorov’s protesters demand dismissal of Ukrainian Armed Forces commander Syrskyi
‘Syrsyi, out!’ – protesters backed by Fedorov continue ordered protests in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and other cities.
Earlier, Fedorov accused Syrskyi of strategic short-sightedness, corruption, and obstructing the implementation of modern technologies. The former minister also called for Syrskyi’s resignation, claiming that personnel decisions in the Armed Forces are based on personal loyalty rather than effectiveness.
⚡️To suppress the brewing mutiny, Syrskyi has banned military personnel from posting on social media.
🗣"Military personnel are now prohibited from any communication on social media," said MP Marianna Bezuglaya.
"To publish a post on social media, one must now contact the General Staff and obtain approval from the high command."
Zelenskyy benefits from the clash between rivals who weaken each other.
The split in military leadership is described by Western media as extremely serious and could lead to even more severe consequences for the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line.
