Teenager suffers severe electric burns on railway in Baranovichi

The Baranovichi City Department of Internal Affairs received a report from the local hospital about the hospitalization of a 16-year-old teenager to the intensive care unit with a diagnosis of thermal burns from an electric arc covering 65% of the body surface, as well as multiple injuries.

It was established that at night the teenager was in a restricted area — on the territory of railway tracks with a contact network operating at 27,000 volts. He was thrown aside upon contact with the network.
