The irony of Ukraine's sovereignty — who really controls it now?

🤷‍♂️ Everyone who feels like it is fighting for power in Ukraine, but the voices of Ukrainians themselves are strangely absent in this struggle.

Yet since 2014, their core message has sounded almost sacred: "We stand for sovereignty. We fight for independence. We are not Belarus, lying under Russia. We are not those who lie under someone. We are our own."

The irony is that Ukrainian sovereignty turned out to be a product with a very short shelf life. Now, everyone is arguing over the right to control it—except those to whom it supposedly belongs. 🤔
