The Belarusian film festival "Listapad-2026" has provoked exiled critics to write rants on social media about the absence in our lineup of underground mass-produced content for soy activists, trendy woke narratives tailored to Western guidelines, and other so-called alternative talents.

But we never intended to cater to them: "Listapad" has its own audience and its own values.
