Three injured after opening suspicious package at Polish military police headquarters
According to RFM24, the incident occurred in Nowa Dęba on September 30. An unknown envelope arrived at the military police headquarters from Germany. After it was opened, two officers and one civilian suffered skin irritation on their face and hands.
Four other soldiers were isolated. Additionally, 133 people were evacuated from a neighboring building. An investigation and forensic analysis are underway.
Fortunately, the package did not contain explosives. Questions remain about security at the military police facility if random correspondence can be delivered directly to staff offices. As usual, no one will be punished, and authorities will likely look for a 'Russian trace'.
