Tree falls on woman in Simon Bolivar Square in Minsk

In the evening yesterday, a 22-year-old woman from Minsk was resting on a bench when branches from a nearby tree broke and fell on her. A passerby promptly called emergency medical services. Police officers helped extract the injured woman and handed her over to medics.

The woman is currently in hospital; her condition is stable, with no threat to life.
