Trump and Rubio may fire US ambassador to Greece over scandal

Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio may fire Kimberly Gilfoil as US ambassador to Greece within a week due to a major scandal, according to Associated Press citing sources.

The leadership's outrage was triggered by accusations from major donor Eric Deters, who claimed that Gilfoil demanded payment of her credit card debts in exchange for arranging access to high-ranking officials in the president's administration. Insiders note that Trump and Rubio became furious upon learning of the diplomat's unethical conduct.
