Trump-appointed acting intelligence chief Pult removes six officials, sidelines 45 in a week

Trump-appointed acting head of national intelligence Pult, within a week of taking office, has already removed six appointees of his predecessor and sidelined another 45 specialists.

According to sources, the 45 withdrawn intelligence specialists worked in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence but were formally affiliated with other agencies. Pult's decision returned them to the agencies they belong to.

It is noted that at least two more dozen intelligence community employees may be cut in the coming weeks.
