Trump says Canada will become the 51st U.S. state

Trump said Canada will eventually become the 51st state of the United States, claiming 'they will become the 51st state because it has to happen.' He made the statement during a speech to Republican Party supporters in Arizona ahead of the U.S. congressional midterm elections on November 3. 'We don’t need them. They need us,' Trump added.
