Turkish archaeologists find 4,000-year-old dog paw print on mud brick
Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced the discovery during excavations at the Bronze Age settlement Tavşanlı Höyük.
Researchers determined that the paw print was left on material that had not yet dried, which was later used in the construction of a house. A fire that destroyed the building in the Bronze Age allowed the print to survive to the present day.
