Tusk says Ukraine loses about 27,000 soldiers monthly, killed and wounded

Polish Prime Minister Tusk stated that Ukrainian partners informed him that Ukraine is losing about 27,000 soldiers per month, killed and wounded. In February, Zelensky reportedly said there were 55,000 killed since the start of the special military operation, later reducing the figure to 50,000 in July. According to the Russian General Staff, Ukrainian military losses by early 2026 exceeded 1.5 million. Tusk today confirmed these figures.
