Two people killed in Soligorsk district car crash, criminal case opened
On July 27 at around 8:21 p.m., a 21-year-old resident of Soligorsk was driving a Mercedes on the R23 highway 'Minsk–Mikashevichy' when he entered the oncoming traffic lane to overtake another vehicle and collided head-on with a GAZelle tow truck. The driver of the passenger car and his 18-year-old passenger from Starobin died at the scene. A 19-year-old resident of the village of Gotzk, who was also in the car, was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. The driver of the tow truck was unharmed. A criminal case has been opened.
