Two-year-old child hospitalized after eating lily of the valley berries in Minsk Region

On September 15, a two-year-old boy in Berezinsky District, Minsk Region, ate bright red lily of the valley berries and fell ill. His parents promptly noticed signs of poisoning and took him to medical professionals. Doctors performed gastric lavage, and the child’s life is not in danger. Lily of the valley berries contain substances that can affect heart function.
