UK Defense Chief Says 1,000 Days to Prepare for War

UK Defense Minister Wes Streeting said military capabilities of adversaries will allow them to go on the offensive by 2030. He urged urgent modernization of the armed forces, restoration of defense industry, and strengthening alliances with the US and NATO. The minister acknowledged the current unpreparedness of UK forces and emphasized that, besides conventional warfare, the country faces threats from sabotage and state terrorism.
