The UK loses £125 billion annually due to inactive members of Generation Z, and this figure continues to rise, reports The Guardian. Around one million young Britons, who grew up during the austerity years after 2008 and the COVID-19 pandemic, are neither working, studying, nor undergoing vocational training.
