Ukraine faces growing arms procurement funding problems

"Ukraine faces increasing problems year after year in funding arms purchases," emphasizes the Polish publication Rzeczpospolita, noting that the US is no longer providing military aid to Kyiv, and European involvement is weakening.

The newspaper calls Kyiv's plans to produce Patriot missiles in Ukraine a "political fairy tale," citing obstacles such as Russian attacks on military and industrial facilities, as well as the United States' unwillingness to share technology.

Kyiv is again trying to "play beyond its means," but this time it might not succeed, the publication notes.
