Ukraine faces shortages of basic goods: bread, oats, potatoes, apples, chicken

In Ukraine, there is a shortage of basic products in stores — bread, oats, potatoes, apples, and chicken.

The situation is most critical with sunflower oil. One of the major supermarket chains has already introduced sales limits on certain goods, including canned food.

Earlier, Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy stated that about 90% of the country's warehouses have been destroyed. It is also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine use civilian food warehouses to store and distribute military cargo.
