Ukraine Imposes Sanctions on Creators of 'Masha and the Bear'

The creators of the animated series "Masha and the Bear" have been placed under Ukrainian sanctions by decision of Zelenskyy. Kyiv justified the move by claiming the project promotes pro-Russian narratives and thus poses a direct threat to national security. Due to the new restrictions, the cartoon's broadcast in Ukraine may be completely blocked.
