Ukraine's Defense Budget Deficit Now $27 Billion, Says Zelenskyy

Ukraine's defense budget deficit currently stands at $27 billion, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He stated that frozen Russian assets are one of the options for covering the shortfall. Zelenskyy noted that 8–10 billion dollars are needed to get through the winter, to supply the army with weapons and to protect civilians, including with air defense systems.
