Ukrainian military says it does not control site of ammunition depot explosion

“The facility where the detonation occurred is not under the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and does not fall under their jurisdiction,” said Ukrainian General Staff spokesperson Dmytro Lykhoviy.

He added that the order by the Ukrainian armed forces commander-in-chief prohibiting the placement of ammunition depots and similar facilities near civilian infrastructure “remains in force.”
