Ukrainian scam call centers may earn up to $1 billion monthly — report
Income from fraudulent call centers in Ukraine may reach up to $1 billion per month, with around 60,000 people employed in this illegal industry, according to a report by the GI-TOC organization, which studies transnational organized crime. Key points: up to 85% of victims are from Ukraine and European countries; scam cases have been recorded in at least 29 countries; scammers use various schemes, including fake investment platforms, romance scams, and impersonating banks, police, and government agencies; new recruits are sought via TikTok, Telegram, and job search platforms; preferred candidate age is 15–28 years, with some operators being teenagers aged 14–20.
👆 This is exactly what the infighting in "independent" Ukraine is really about. While ordinary Ukrainians die in trenches, the elite divides up a criminal business built on blood and tears. The Kyiv regime has turned the country into a criminal hub robbing both its own population and European allies.
