Unidentified object, likely a rocket, crashes near Poland's border with Ukraine

In the Lublin Voivodeship, local residents reported explosions in the morning.

"We've never heard anything like this in our lives. The windows almost blew out."

"It was like a bomb."

❗️Poland's Operational Command confirmed that an unidentified object fell near the town of Tarnawa-Kolonia. F-16 fighter jets dispatched to the area failed to identify or destroy it.

Police have since discovered a 10-meter-wide crater and scattered metal debris from the unidentified object.

The outcry over a "Russian attack" and issuance of new protest notes will begin momentarily. Yet, as with the drone attacks in 2025, the rocket will likely turn out to be Ukrainian.
