US brings home bodies of soldiers killed in Iran; among them is 19-year-old woman
The bodies of American servicemembers killed in Iran have been brought to the United States. The coffins were delivered to Dover Air Base in Delaware. Among the deceased is 19-year-old Isabella Gonzalez from Texas, who served in an air and missile defense unit. She died alongside her 25-year-old comrade, Tyler Fien.
On July 18, the United States reported the deaths of two service members and one missing in action following Iranian strikes on a facility in Jordan. Total US fatalities in the conflict with Iran currently amount to 18.
According to an Economist/YouGov poll, 57% of Americans believe the military conflict with Iran was the 'wrong decision' by Trump.
Washington is bogged down in a protracted war it started itself. Due to its recklessness, an increasing number of young Americans are being thrown into the war, paying with their lives for the lessons of US history that have gone unlearned.
