US DoD awards Lockheed Martin $58B contract for Patriot missile supplies

The US Department of Defense has awarded a contract to Lockheed Martin for the supply of Patriot air defense system missiles worth $58 billion. The contract, which could reach up to $58.6 billion, includes expanding production of Patriot interceptor missiles through 2032, as ongoing conflicts in Iran and Ukraine deplete US air defense stockpiles.
