US DOE Orders Emergency Stabilization of Power Grid in 17 States Due to Heatwave

The US Department of Energy has ordered emergency stabilization of the power grid across 17 states due to extreme heat. Since the beginning of July, the United States has been experiencing abnormally hot weather, with temperatures rising up to 45°C in some areas.
